Deposits & Payments
All deposits are non-refundable. Once a deposit is submitted for officiant or coaching services, it will not be refunded for any reason.
Submission of a deposit confirms that the client has read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for services once payment has been made.
Coaching Session Terms
Coaching session packages must be used within six (6) months from the date of purchase. Any unused sessions remaining after this period will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed or refunded.
Clients are allowed up to two (2) rescheduled sessions, subject to Dr. Buckhalter’s availability.
Ceremony Terms
If a wedding ceremony has been paid in full and is later canceled, no refunds will be issued.
Both Dr. Buckhalter and her husband attend every ceremony to assist with the coordination and support of the service.
BCMM reserves the right to leave the ceremony location without refund if circumstances arise that threaten the safety of Dr. Buckhalter, her spouse, or any BCMM business partners.
Ceremony Start Times
All ceremonies must begin within 45 minutes of the scheduled start time.
A $50 late fee will apply if the ceremony begins one hour or more past the scheduled start time. This fee must be paid prior to the start of the ceremony.
BCMM will wait a maximum of 1.5 hours from the scheduled ceremony start time. After this time, BCMM reserves the right to proceed with the ceremony or leave the location.
Refund Exception
The only circumstance in which a refund (minus the non-refundable deposit) will be issued is if BCMM is unable to fulfill the agreed-upon service.
Parking Fees
Any parking fees required at the ceremony location must be covered by the couple, either through parking validation or reimbursement to BCMM.

Marriage License Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the couple to obtain a valid marriage license from the appropriate county or government office prior to the ceremony.
The marriage license must be presented to Dr. Buckhalter before the ceremony begins. If the couple does not have a valid marriage license at the time of the ceremony, the ceremony may still be performed as a non-legal commitment ceremony, but BCMM will not be responsible for the marriage being legally recognized.
BCMM is not responsible for filing delays, errors, or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the couple.
If the couple fails to obtain a valid marriage license prior to the scheduled ceremony, no refunds will be issued.
License Filing
After the ceremony, Dr. Buckhalter will complete and sign the marriage license and return it according to the requirements of the issuing county. Processing times for official marriage certificates are determined by the county clerk’s office and are outside the control of BCMM.
Right to Refuse or Pause Ceremony
BCMM reserves the right to pause, delay, or refuse to perform a ceremony if conditions are deemed unsafe, illegal, or disruptive.
